Mid-State Magic Sports!

Mission Statement

Mid State Magic Sports was founded in 2006 with the goal of developing our youth. As a non-profit organization, Mid State Magic Sports is operated by a dedicated team of Board Directors who all share the vision of ensuring the success of our youth, both on and off the basketball court.
 
We accommodate both boys and girls ​between the ages of 8 and 18 years old. Our teams are constructed to be highly competitive at both the State and National levels. The strong support we have and continue to receive from our community proudly enables us to offer a scholarship program for qualifying members.
 
Through our dedication to the improvement and success of all our players, we have established our program as one of the top in the state as well as being highly recognized on the national level. The program has helped over 100 members receive scholarships to continue their playing careers at the next level and we plan to continue to add to that number as the years go on.

Susan Harper

Mid State Magic is an excellent program for players to improve their basketball skills and self-confidence. They teach the players discipline and how to work together as a team. The strength and conditioning work, along with the skills training, help the player perform at the top of their game. Rod genuinely cares about each player and works hard to promote the players to colleges. My son, Cameron, played for Mid State Magic starting in 5th grade and considers Rod to be the best coach he ever had. He encourages the players to perform at their highest level and challenges them to do more.

MidState = Family! Players learn skills that will help them throughout their lives on and off the court. Along with strong fundamentals of the game, they learn respect, leadership, and teamwork. Rod and the other coaches supported and promoted our son, and brought out the best in him. We are so thankful for everything MidState has done for our son to help him have the opportunity to play ball in college.
