For the 2024 Season: 

-All teams (every player) will receive a reversible jersey and shorts. (Items have to be returned at the completion of the season)

-Each team schedule is specifically tailored towards talent level. Board members partner with the coaches to ensure we are developing our players and placing them in the best environment to learn, develop, and compete. 

Tryout Structure/Team Invite Process:

• Mid-State Magic Sports will host two tryout sessions per grade/gender (current 2023-2024 school year).  Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend each tryout.  Depending on the # of athletes at a tryout and the need for further evaluation, Mid-State Magic Sports may host a third tryout for specific athletes. Tryout structure normally includes skill work, shooting drills, 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 team play.
• Team invites are normally sent within 72 hours of the final tryout.  Teams consist of 9-12 players (12 players max.); Player Fee (team fee and gear fee) MUST be paid in full prior to competing in the first tournament. 
• All teams practice 2x a week; some of our top high school teams (boys and girls) may occasionally practice once a week due to heavy travel demands.

Tournaments:

Depending on the team, Mid-State Magic Sports teams play in the following type of events:

• Big Shots Events
• AAU State Tournaments
• Phenom Hoops
• Boo Williams Events
• National Events

Tryout Dates/Times:

• 2/17 & 2/24 (Current Grades 4th -11th)
•  (Athletes are STRONGLY encouraged to attend BOTH tryout sessions)

Tryout Fee:

$25 (Register online to attend tryouts)
